Our 12" x 20" 3/8" AR500 IDPA/IPSC Gong is one of our most popular and most widely used silhouettes. Whether you're participating in or training for a match or shooting recreationally for fun, it's a tried and true design.
We want to introduce a new, sturdy way to hang your steel targets. Say hello to our 3/8" AR500 Spring T-Post Mount! This simple pre-welded design is quick and easy to set up. Within a couple minutes you're ready for multiple hours of fun/training at the range. These mounts are great for short and long distance shooting.
A 3/4" socket or wrench is the only tool required to attach the target to the mount using the included spring and 1/2" fasteners. A drill or impact makes quick work of this process.
After assembly, the target will be pitched downward at a 10-15 degree angle for safer bullet deflection. It can also be placed on the rear 3/8" AR500 integrated backup curved hook.
With two kits you're able to hang other targets in between on conduit pipe or with linked chains. Side mount holes are compatible with 1" OD pipe/tubing. Picture is of 3/4" EMT Conduit.
Target and entire mount construction are manufactured from new high quality 3/8 inch thick AR500 steel plate made in the USA.
Our products are precision cut with a CNC plasma cutter and submersion water cooled during the cutting process to maintain the integrity of the shooting targets, ensuring the longest life.
These AR500 steel targets are great for most pistol and rifle calibers, including .17 HMR, .22LR, 22-250, 9mm, .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, 45ACP, .223/5.56 NATO, 300BLK, 6.5 Creedmoor, .270 WIN, .308 WIN/7.62x51 NATO, & 30-06 as well as most other high powered rifle calibers.
This shooting target is rated for most handguns and rifles with muzzle velocities under 3,000 fps. They are built to withstand standard FMJ ammunition. Do not use armor piercing or steel core ammunition, it will damage all AR500 steel.
Reversible steel target face doubles the life of the shooting target.
