Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Drive a 5 or 6 foot studded t-post (Not Included) into the ground leaving 3 to 3.5 feet sticking out of the ground. Longer, deeper driven t-posts will be more stable.
Step 2 (Image 1): Insert (2) 3/8" 4" Carriage Bolts through the bottom square holes on (1) 3" Square Connector Bracket (rectangular holes will be on top). Next, slide the (1) 3"x20" Vertical T-Post Protector Plate and (1) 3"x1" T-Post Spacer over the bolts. Fit these pieces to the studded t-post 2 or 3 spaces down from the top of the post. On the back of the post, slide the second 3” Square Connector Bracket on and fasten down with (2) 3/8" Lock Nuts leaving them 1/32"-1/16" loose for Step 3.
Step 3 (Image 2): Slide the last 3"x1" T-Post Spacer and bottom mounting portion of the Pre-Assembled Hub Assembly behind the front 3" Square Connector Bracket. If bearings come into contact with the top of the Studded T-Post, move spacers up one stud/space. Insert the last (2) 3/8" 4" Carriage Bolts through the top holes of the parts and through the rear 3" Square Connector Bracket. Thread on the last (2) 3/8" Lock Nuts and fasten down all (4) 3/8" Lock Nuts evenly making sure all parts are aligned properly especially the (1) 3"x20" Vertical T-Post Protector Plate.
Step 4 (Images 3 & 4): Attach the (5) 10" Long Pre-Assembled Star Arm to the front of the Hub Assembly using (2) 3/8" 1.5” Carriage Bolts and (2) 3/8" Hex Nuts each. Spring retaining portion will face away from the shooter. There should be an 1/8" evenly spaced between each Star Arm (triangular shaped area in the center). This will keep the weight distributed evenly throughout the Star while rotating.
Step 5: Lastly, insert the (5) 6" Texas Star Paddles and you’re ready for the range!
